A Night of Laughs in Memory of Brad McColgan.
Brad left us too soon. He left many of us thinking he was full of light and laughter. He left others knowing he fought depression for far too many years. I wish Brad could have felt the same silliness and fun that he made us feel while we had him.
In an effort to continue the laughs he gave to those who knew him we are having a night comedy and remembrance with his favorite comedians at Chuckles Comedy Club. All of the proceeds from these 2 shows will be going to support CMHA New Brunswick SJ chapter. We want to raise funds to help CMHA work towards getting more programming and training for parents and their children in hopes of teaching them the tools to cope with life and it's struggles before it is too late.
If you are struggling with depression or thoughts of suicide, you are not alone. Please call 1•800•667•5005. Someone is always listening.
About the Headliner!
Author, columnist, and comedian Steve Hofstetter is often called the hardest working man in show-business. With all due respect to the late James Brown.
Hofstetter has appeared on CBS' "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" and is the host and executive producer of "Laughs" on Fox networks.
Steve is one of the top booked acts on the college circuit, the original writer for collegehumor.com and has also released six albums. His latest is titled 'Ginger Kid'.
This guy has done it all from radio broadcasting, hosting shows for Sirius Xm and writing columns for several newspapers.
Hofstetter's brutal tour schedule consists of over 100 colleges and dozens of clubs every year, and is fueled by an immense online popularity, tons of press, and a Prius with great gas mileage. He reached 200,000 friends on Facebook and 400,000 more on MySpace, and high shelves in grocery being 6'4.
Without his glasses, Hofstetter also looks a great deal like Michael Rappaport.
